How It Started
The brand was born while founder Kyal Van Der Leest was caring for his mother through a terminal illness. LVLUP stands for Leanne Van Der Leest Legacy, and every formulation reflects that origin, products designed with purpose, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others. Many formulations have been inspired by the health challenges of friends and family, driven by the belief that better products can help make the world a better place. LVLUP Health exists because doing better was the only option.
Founded in 2020, Kyal was just 27 years old and working across both a Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) clinic and one of the busiest health food and supplement stores in Australia. Every day, he saw the same frustration: patients and customers were taking six to eight different products just to access the actives they needed, often with limited results, high costs, long wait times, and questionable quality from overseas imports.
As a passionate formulator, biohacker, and lifelong health enthusiast, Kyal had personally tried almost everything on the market, for patients, for customers, and for himself. His curiosity led him to peptides and other unique natural compounds, where he witnessed firsthand their remarkable healing potential and wide-ranging benefits. Yet the same problem persisted: the products he wanted simply didn’t exist.
The Next Chapter
Rather than accept this limitation, Kyal began sourcing the highest-quality ingredients available and experimenting relentlessly to create something better, more effective, more efficient, and more honest. After months of formulation and refinement, LVLUP’s first flagship product, Regenerate, was born. Sales soon followed, but more importantly, so did powerful testimonials from people whose health had genuinely improved.
